Pioneer Services wins another Better Business Bureau Award for Ethics
Office serving Fort Drum Soldiers wins local 'Torch Award' for high ethical standards
Office manager Deanna Halko said the award reinforces all that the company does to provide a high level of ethical service to the military community it exclusively serves.
"It is an incredible honor to win the Torch Award," she said. "Pioneer Services' code of ethical standards—which includes our Code of Conduct for Military Families and 15-day, no-cost Military Loan Guarantee—is designed to ensure our service members and their families receive the highest level of service. Serving the military community is a responsibility we take very seriously; military families sacrifice a great deal to serve our country, and they deserve to be treated fairly."
The award adds to a long line of recent recognition for Pioneer Services. In September 2006, the office in Hephzibah, Ga., (which serves Fort Gordon) was also recognized with a local Torch Award. In June 2006, the company won an American Business Award (known as a "Stevie") for the Best Corporate Social Responsibility Program, and was also named one of the top 25 "Best Small & Medium Companies to Work for in America" for the second time in three years by the Society for Human Resource Management. In 2005, the company was one of only 15 to win a Department of Defense Freedom Award for support of associates in the National Guard and Reserve.
"The numerous awards during 2005 and 2006 are proof that everyone in our company, from the top down, works the right way, every single day," said Halko. "Ethics are such a rich and integral part of corporate culture that doing what is right comes naturally."
