Pioneer Services Representatives win Better Business Bureau Award for Ethics
Torch Award acknowledges high ethical standards and practices of businesses
“We are honored to be named as the first Torch Award winner in the area,” said office manager Jeff Major. “Everyone in our office—and our entire company—follows our Code of Conduct. For the Better Business Bureau to recognize us, for what we do every day, proves that we’re doing the right things the right way for every military family that walks through our doors.”
The local award adds to a growing amount of recognition Pioneer Services has received in recent months. In June, Pioneer Services received an American Business Award (known as a “Stevie”) for the Best Corporate Social Responsibility Program, and was named one of the 25 “Best Small & Medium Companies to Work for in America” for the second time in three years by the Society for Human Resource Management. Last year, the company was only one of 15 to win a Department of Defense Freedom Award for support of associates in the National Guard and reserves.
“Our company culture is built around doing what is ethical, legal, and best for the customer,” said Major. “And since those principles are ingrained in the company from the top down, following them is like second nature.”
