International Association of Business Communicators honors Pioneer Services with Bronze Quill awards
Company receives awards for design, Financial PEP Talk podcast series
The IABC awarded Pioneer Services Bronze Quills in three categories: "Publication Design" for a magazine about the annual recipients of Pioneer Services' team member recognition program (called "ELITE"); two awards in the "Other Graphic Design" category for annual ELITE posters and the design elements for the company's "Step It Up" campaign that encouraged health living; and "Electronic and Digital Communications" for the Financial PEP Talk educational podcast series.
"It is an absolute honor to have received Bronze Quills in each category we entered, and we thank the judges for recognizing our efforts," said Karen Von Der Bruegge, chief marketing officer for Pioneer Services. "We have always prided ourselves on finding and hiring talented people, and these awards show that we have succeeded in doing just that. It's a great testament to the hard work of all the team members who contributed to these projects."
For more than 35 years, KC-IABC has recognized those who produce truly outstanding communications pieces, both external and internal. Hundreds of entries were received for the 2011 awards, and winners were selected by a group of business communicators located outside the Kansas City area to ensure no bias affected the process. Other winners included Hallmark Cards, JP Morgan Retirement Services, Cerner, and Sprint.
All four entries are qualified for the regional Silver Quill Awards for the IABC Southern Region, which includes 28 IABC chapters in 14 states, and 15 countries and territories.
