Pioneer Services recognized nationally for financial education writing that assists military families

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Jul 19, 2011) The 23rd Annual "APEX Awards for Publication Excellence" are a competition for writers, editors, publications staff, and business and nonprofit communicators that recognizes some of the best communication materials in the country. Organizations such as NASA, the U.S. Navy, Costco, FedEx, and Walt Disney, entered more than 3,300 projects into 130 different categories; out of those 3,300, only 100 are chosen for a "Grand Award," which highlights the best of the best.

Pioneer Services was one of those 100, receiving a "Grand Award in Writing" for its series of financial education articles, beating out Ford Motor Company, Wells Fargo, Merrill Lynch, and many others. One judge noted that Pioneer Services' articles were an "extremely well-written series with concise, nicely 'chunked' copy, including plenty of subheads and bulleted lists. The reading is easy and the advice is first-rate."
