Winners of Pioneer Services' 'Mega Merry Giveaway' announced
Eight lucky service members win an Apple iPad or $1,000

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Jan 24, 2012) Pioneer Services made this past season a lot brighter for eight lucky service members who were recently selected as winners of the Mega Merry Giveaway. There were four winners of an Apple iPad® (one winner from each military branch) and four $1,000 winners (again, one from each branch of service).

The sweepstakes, which was designed specifically for active-duty and career-retired service members and their spouses, ran from Nov. 1, 2011, through Dec. 10, 2011, and generated more than 13,000 total entries from the sweepstakes website (www.MegaMerryGiveaway.com) and Pioneer Services' Facebook page (www.Facebook.com/PioneerServices). Winners were selected randomly by an independent agency on Dec. 11, 2011.

"We were looking for a way to celebrate the season of giving while also thanking service members and their families for all they do, and the Pioneer Services 2011 Mega Merry Sweepstakes really delivered," said Karen Von Der Bruegge, chief marketing and retail operations officer for Pioneer Services. "Congratulations to the winners—and to everyone who participated in this fun and unique holiday giveaway. And thank you to our nation's military for their continued service to our country."

Winners of the 2011 Pioneer Services Mega Merry Giveaway are:

Grand Prize ($1,000): Army: Zachary M. of Fort Bragg, N.C.; Marine Corps: Pedro P. of Fort Worth, Texas; Navy: Edward B. of Norfolk, Va.; Air Force: Aaron R. of Hampton, Va.
