'Operation Building Freedom' raises money for disabled military during Military Appreciation Month
Pioneer Services' Facebook Cause campaign helps build homes for those wounded in action

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (May 03, 2011) To celebrate National Military Appreciation Month this May, and to recognize the sacrifice and service of our nation's military, Pioneer Services, the Military Banking Division of MidCountry Bank, has launched "Operation Building Freedom", a Facebook Cause campaign to benefit Homes for Our Troops, a nationally recognized non-profit that constructs specially adapted homes for severely injured service members.

During the month of May, Pioneer Services will donate $.50 for every Facebook user who joins the Cause campaign, and will match all donations dollar for dollar, up to $10,000. All people need to do is visit the Pioneer Services Facebook page and click the Operation Building Freedom banner. Those who are interested can also go to Causes.com.

"We wanted to find a way to help those who have given so much to our country, and this Cause campaign can do just that," said Karen Von Der Bruegge, the executive in charge of corporate social responsibility for Pioneer Services. "Home for Our Troops is an incredible organization, and we're proud to help raise money and awareness for them. And the more people who join the Cause, the more money we can raise for disabled service members!"

To join Operation Building Freedom and help raise $10,000 for wounded troops, visit the Pioneer Services Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/PioneerServices.
